Tine spacing and core depth are key factors in optimizing aeration. We use only the best equipment so your lawn may truly be the greenest. We use aerators that deliver 12 plugs per square foot compared to most other aerators that only deliver 6-9. Our aerators pull plugs 1-3 inches deep. Fair prices and superior quality are guaranteed when you work with us. Call today to set up an appointment. 801-513-3577

3 THINGS TO PREP BEFORE WE ARRIVE
*Water the lawn the night before aerating. Moist soil is key to receiving the best core aeration.
*Make sure the lawn is not overgrown. Mowed a few days prior is fine.
*Please mark your sprinklers, valve boxes, drain boxes, etc., in the body of the lawn.
PLEASE NOTE
*We DO NOT clean up or remove the thatch or debris brought to the surface following power raking. We recommend using a leaf rake or bagging as you mow over it.
*If your yard has tree roots at or near the surface, we cannot service those sections.
*We are unable to service steep slopes.
*We need a minimum 32-inch gate width for our machines.
We appreciate your business and hope to see you soon.

MORE ABOUT AERATION:
Aeration aims to open up the soil, preventing compact soil from stunting grass growth and nutrient runoff. Grass is always seeking to grow outwards. By using core aeration, the grass has room to shoot out new, bright green growth. The open soil can breathe and easily receive nutrients. The plugs left on the surface of the lawn are beneficial, natural fertilizers containing micro-nutrients. They'll break down within two or three weeks following aerating.
We recommend waiting to fertilize your lawn until after the lawn has been aerated. This allows you to get the most bang for your buck, and in the spring, it helps ensure the pre-emergents work their best on the newly exposed soil.
Aerating may be done anytime within the growing season.
Many lawns benefit from aeration twice yearly, in the spring and fall. Lawns that receive heavy traffic --think kids, pets, etc- and lawns grown in clay soils benefit greatly from aerating twice a year.
MORE ABOUT POWER RAKING:
Power raking is performed on lawns that have a build-up of 1/4" or more of debris or thatch at the base of the grass, preventing airflow, water, and nutrients from reaching the soil.
