Sawyerbuilt Welding and Fabrication

We handle your railing build from start to finish.

We are licensed and insured in the entire state of Utah, but focus mainly on Utah and Salt Lake county.

Here’s how the process works:

1. Call or text (801) 687-7224 to schedule a visit.  During the visit I’ll take measurements and get an idea from you for what style of railing you are looking for. 
2. Rendering and quote.  I’ll make a CAD rendering of your build to make sure we are on the same page with the style of railing you want.  
3. I’ll request a 50% deposit for the build.  Paying the deposit gets you on the schedule.  We are usually between 4 and 8 weeks out from the time of the deposit to the final install.  
4. Rough frame fabrication.  All fabrication takes place at our shop in Spanish Fork.
5. Test fit. We take the rough framework to your house to do a test fit to make sure we have all of the angles and measurements perfect.  This occasionally requires more than one test fit depending on the complexity your build.  
6. Final fabrication. We weld balusters into your railing, completely weld out all of the joints, and finish by sanding smooth all of the welds.  
7. Powder coating. We powder coat the railing to the color of your choice.  
8. Install day.  Most residential installs take a single day, but more complex jobs may take multiple days.  
9. Final payment.  After the install is complete I will send you an invoice for the remaining amount due on your build.
