80% gas furnace owners. (metal exhaust) This is important news that directly impacts the comfort, safety, and efficiency of about 35% of the homes in Utah. Effective late 2028, the Department of Energy will be enacting a ban on the production of 80% gas furnaces. This means that if you currently have an older 80% gas furnace installed in your home, it's time to seriously consider replacing it before you cannot.
