My name is Dylan. I am a music education graduate from the University of Utah with a Bachelors degree in Instrumental Music Education. In addition, I am one of the few guitar instructors to posess a certified professional teaching license issued by the Utah State Office Board of Education.
I have developed a highly successful teaching method that includes a personalized curriculum for each student, as well as monthly and yearly progress reports for all students.
There are a variety of guitar instructors to choose from, however, many instructors lack the educational background that I believe is necessary for proper instruction. I have over twelve years of playing experience on the guitar and seven years of teaching experience.

I’m classically trained from the music program at the University of Utah, so there will be no discrepancy on the material or techniques covered. I'll teach each lesson dependent upon your interests in music. Above all else, I love to teach music. I have a very easy going personality, and I make learning music fun and relaxing. I teach children and adults of all ages and I regularly schedule perfromance recitals for any of my students that are interested in performing. Please email me for lesson times, prices or questions.
